These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Universal Remote ("the App"), published by Mobile Alchemy. By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms and the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

Subscriptions & Purchases

The App offers optional premium subscriptions (weekly, monthly, yearly) and a lifetime purchase.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your iPhone Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
Refunds are handled by Apple per their refund policy.

Free Tier

The App allows control of one device for free. Additional devices require an active premium subscription or lifetime purchase.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
Use the App for any unlawful purpose or to interfere with devices you do not own or have permission to control.
Redistribute, sublicense, or resell the App or any part of it.

IR Codes & Device Compatibility

The App provides infrared codes from open-source community databases. We do not guarantee that every code will work with every device. IR blaster hardware is required for infrared control and is sold separately by third-party manufacturers.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with all devices or hardware.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mobile Alchemy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia.
